This misty morning, the air was cool and rejuvenating. It surrounded the rising sun in an angelic glow. All of nature seemed gentle and peaceful: birds, animals, nature and me. Our experiences are filtered by our perception. With each experience, we can choose to love and see the joy if we want to.

 

Moving Forward

The sheep decided to escape the heat by taking over the chicken ark. While getting them out, I pulled a muscle. Tough moments are only moments - they are temporary. By allowing myself to feel whatever I feel, looking at the events objectively, and honoring my body’s needs, the pain subsided and I was able to move forward with joy rather than drama.

 

Something special

My city dog, Halo, moved with us to the country last year. This morning, a hungry predator knocked down an electric fence and our sheep ran wild. Halo woke me and we ran outside. Without a word from me, Halo ran off and rounded up the sheep. He was so much more than he appeared to be. Like Halo, we all have something special to give the world - even if we, or others, don’t know it.
